I demand to know...WHO gave Shayne permission to grow up?!

Cuz it WASNT me.

AH...i'm loving every moment of her turning into her own little person, but it's a bitter sweet kinda thing.

Yesterday I walked in her room to see this......

Is it just me or does she look like shes 12?! She was so proud of herself too. She said,

"Mommy, I found my books, I opened my markers, all by myself!"
Such a big girl (sigh).

love her. lots.

Now this is just hiarious...have you EVER seen hair like this ?! HAHAHAHAHHAHA.

OK, enough of my growing up issues.

Michael took me to academy over the weekend and got me my running / work out shoes...and I LOVE them. I have a thing for Puma, so these are just perfect.

Thanks love ! I'm ready to run.

oh...did I mention that I hate running.

a LOT.

I always have.

but working out with a kid at home is not easy. Maybe if I was stay at home mom and had nap time to workout, but i dont. I have the evenings, that's all. So I'm hoping that running will give me a way to get in some exercise that involves Shayne......here's to hoping !!

We cant WAIT for this weekend.

Why you ask??

Because my dad/Shayne's grandpa is coming from California for a visit! He has a cattle sale to go to in Weatherford and is coming in to see us Sunday & Monday. I love that even though he lives so far away, we really do get to see him quite a bit. Shayne is absolutely in love with him. She talks about him all the time, which makes me SO happy. We wish Dina was with him, but she had to stay behind in Cali. We miss you Dina! Hopefully soon we will live much closer to them and be able to see them all the time.

Speaking of parents, I sure do miss my mom. And Breanna. It's so hard to make time to go back and forth to see eachother. Between work and all of my side jobs and Michael's school and job, we still havent been able to go see her in Belton. Hopefully soon we will be able to make the trip!

I'm sorry, you will have to excuse the randomness of this post. Lots of little things to ramble about...not a lot of time! Well, the little voice in the kitchen is telling me she needs something...
